2009 Annual Banquet and Award Ceremony

Join us for a reunion and a night to honor our Oustanding Youth. Meet the new interns for both the Journalism and Political Internships. Come to mix, mingle, network, eat, drink, and enjoy the night with fellow Taiwanese Americans old and new.
The night features the honoring and recognition of our next generation of leaders from high school, college, and young professionals. 21 outstanding high school seniors will receive the scholarship. TACL will present its four major programs, Summer Political Internship, Journalism Internship, Scholarship, and Summer Camp.
Dr. Tsuann Kuo, former TUF President, and TAP's 2007 Pioneer in Community Service Honoree will be honored. She will speak on the topic of "T + A = TA."
Wencheng Lin, Chair of the Institute of Taiwan Study will present "Census 2010, and Taiwanese Americans."
The Opening Ceremony for our 2009 Political Interns will also be held prior to the Banquet at 4:00PM. This ceremony is FREE to attend. There will also be a Career Workshop for high school students and parents at 4PM.
